All four gospels record the death of Jesus Christ. You can read the story in Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, and John 19. Tortured, humiliated, and nailed to a cross where He was left to die. It begs the question, where is the good in Good Friday?

David was a shepherd and this analogy is very real to him. The flock under his watch were completely dependent upon him. Without his constant presence and care, they have no hope of survival. The sheep must learn his voice and follow it. In the same manner we must know and follow fully after the voice of the Lord.
